Lil B Says Rockets Coach Kevin McHale Was Fired Because of ‘The Based God Curse’

After making it all the way to the Western Conference Finals last season, the Houston Rockets (4-7) have gotten off to a slow start this season, and it has cost head coach Kevin McHale his job.

Hate to break it to you, Rockets fans, but it appears as though "The Based God Curse" is still in effect.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports broke the news Wednesday morning that the Rockets were firing McHale as a result of the disappointing start. Not long after that news broke, rapper Lil B took to Twitter to let everyone know why the Rockets made the coaching change:



In case you missed it, the Rockets gave out James Harden "Stir It Up" bobbleheads at a home game in early November. Given that Lil B has laid claim to the "Stir It Up"/"Flicka Da Wrist" motion (Warning: Video contains NSFW language), that giveaway didn't sit well with him—so he apparently made sure the curse was alive and well.

Whether or not he believes in the curse, Houston interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff may want to be careful as to not risk angering Lil B. It's just not worth it.
