Los Angeles Clippers small forward Lance Stephenson was reportedly part of a stunning trade offer the team made to the Denver Nuggets.

Stephenson, Blake Griffin Reportedly Offered for 4 Nuggets Players Monday, Feb. 15 ESPN's Chris Broussard reported Monday (via Basketball Insiders' Tommy Beer) that L.A. offered up Stephenson and Clippers All-Star Blake Griffin in a trade for Will Barton, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried and Nikola Jokic.

Stephenson is averaging only 15.8 minutes per contest this season but has performed well when called upon, averaging 4.7 points on 49.4 percent shooting, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists.   

He is obviously one of the smaller parts of this reported deal ahead of Thursday's NBA trade deadline and has had trouble carving out a consistent role in L.A. Others on the Clippers' perimeter rotation, such as Wesley Johnson and Austin Rivers, have played over him this season, though Rivers is currently nursing a broken hand.
