Lakers vs. Bulls: Score, Highlights, Reaction from 2016 Regular Season

A Julius Randle layup with 45 seconds left helped deliver the Los Angeles Lakers a 96-90 win over the Chicago Bulls from the United Center on Wednesday night.

It was the cherry on top to Randle's big night as he recorded 13 points and 20 rebounds, which tied a career high, in the win.

He carried a Lakers team with a thin backcourt after it was announced that Nick Young would miss two to four weeks due to a strained calf, via Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times. This comes a week after second-year man D'Angelo Russell was shelved with a knee issue that still held him out.

More impressively, the Lakers overcame a first-half deficit that was as large as 16 points to pick up their 10th win of the season.

Chicago's Jimmy Butler led his team's charge with 22 points, but the offense sputtered by shooting less than 36 percent from the field on the night.

It also didn't help that the Bulls bench didn't add much with just 16 points. In comparison, Lakers reserve guards Lou Williams and Jordan Clarkson scored 18 points apiece off the bench.
