Lakers Rumors: Rounding Up Trade Buzz on Robert Sacre and More

Just a few days into the new year, things are already red hot in the rumors department surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers. 

Never mind that the Lakers are a team more than 10 games below .500 in a competitive conference. Forget that Kobe Bryant is undergoing changes to his playing time to counter the harsh realities of age. 

This is about the future. Ask the New York Knicks how the approach is going, too.

It is clear the Lakers are on the hunt to do whatever necessary to improve the roster down the road, hence the foray into the fight for Rajon Rondo and the necessity that seems to be shipping away players such as Robert Sacre.

As far as tradeable assets go, 25-year-old center Robert Sacre is high up on the list.

In fact, the brass in Los Angeles are likely to scratch their collective heads if any offers at all come in for the former Gonzaga star.
