LA Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

The Los Angeles Lakers had lost each of their last seven meetings with the Denver Nuggets, but Tuesday at Pepsi Center, the Lakers controlled virtually the entire game and emerged with a convincing 111-103 win. 

Kobe Bryant keyed the victory with his efficient triple-double, notching 23 points, 11 boards and 11 assists. He attempted only 11 of the Lakers' 76 shots and facilitated his teammates very well by drawing double teams. Carlos Boozer was effective in reserve duty with 19 points and nine boards. 

Ty Lawson tallied 16 points and nine dimes for Denver, while Jusuf Nurkic added 16 points and eight rebounds, but it didn't suffice.

The Lakers led for the final 44 minutes and change with an advantage built from blistering first-half shooting, and they held off a late charge from the Nuggets, which was both sparked and squelched by Nate Robinson who was ejected following a second technical foul with 1:36 left to play.
