The Toronto Raptors dropped Game 2 of their playoff series with the Washington Wizards Tuesday night, and it might have come with a larger cost as Kyle Lowry was unable to finish the game after suffering a shin injury.

Lowry Suffers Injury vs. Wizards

The Raptors announced that their star point guard suffered a left shin contusion Tuesday night and that he'll be re-evaluated on Wednesday.
Prior to leaving Game 2, Lowry had six points and four assists in 27 minutes of play. Despite the lackluster performance, Lowry is the heart and soul of this Toronto team and is often the focal point of the offense because of his ability to facilitate for his teammates, attack the lane off the dribble and hit from three-point range.
He has already missed some time this season to injury. The Raptors certainly didn’t fall out of playoff contention in his absence, but they need him on the floor to challenge the top teams in the East in the postseason.
