Kevin Love Injury: Updates on Cavaliers Star’s Concussion and Return

Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love left the floor during Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday and was diagnosed with concussion. It is uncertain when he will be ready to return.

Love Returning to Cleveland With Team Monday, June 6 Tom Withers of the Associated Press reported Love was cleared to travel back to Cleveland ahead of Game 3 after sustaining a concussion on Sunday.

Love Placed in Concussion Protocol  Monday, June 6 According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Love was experiencing dizziness and has been placed in the NBA's concussion protocol. ESPN's Rachel Nichols noted that the Cavaliers revealed Love is considered day-to-day.

Love was hit by an inadvertent elbow from Harrison Barnes that caused him to fall to the ground late in the first half. He remained in the game, but entered the locker room in the third quarter. The Cavaliers released a statement regarding Love's status, via Stein:
