Jordan McRae to Cavaliers: Latest Contract Details, Comments, Reaction

After a 10-day contract, Jordan McRae's stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers will be extended after the two sides agreed to a multiyear deal.   

Cavaliers radio announcer John Michael tweeted out the official press release from the team Wednesday announcing McRae's signing:



McRae originally signed a 10-day contract with the Cavaliers on February 28. He has appeared in three games, averaging 4.3 points and shooting 50 percent on eight shots. 

The 24-year-old McRae has bounced around a lot since he was drafted in the second round by San Antonio in 2014. He was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers on draft night, signed with Melbourne United for the 2014-15 season and returned to the United States in March 2015 to play for the 76ers' development league affiliate. 

He started the 2015-16 season in the D-League with the Delaware 87ers, scoring a league-record 61 points on January 26.

McRae averaged 23.3 points, 5.2 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 29 games with Delaware before signing two separate 10-day contracts with the Phoenix Suns. He played in seven games fo ...
