Jimmy Butler Wants Mason Plumlee to Pay Fine for Technical Foul vs. Blazers

Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler took exception to a hard screen set by Portland Trail Blazers center Mason Plumlee on Tuesday night before retaliating with a takedown of his own, and the All-Star swingman didn't mince words regarding his objections to the big man's actions. 



After Butler was slapped with a technical foul and Plumlee received one of the flagrant variety, Butler told reporters he wanted the former Duke Blue Devil to break out his wallet and pay the $2,500 fine billed to players upon receiving a technical. 

"Basketball, emotions, that’s part of the game," he said, according to the Chicago Sun-Times' Joe Cowley. "Yeah, he cost me $2,500. I’m going to ask him to pay me back, and I’m not playing. I’m going to ask, nicely. Yeah, I’m going to get that. I’m going to tell my agent to e-mail or something. I know it’s like MisterDukie@yahoo.com or something."

Whether Plumlee repays him or not, Butler got the last laugh Tuesday night by scoring a game-high 22 points in the Bulls' 93-88 win. And with a freshly inked five-year, $95 million ...
