Jeremy Lin: Why New York Knicks Star Will Start at Point Guard Next Season

This season Jeremy Lin dazzled a nation and ignited a fiery debate about racism in America. While Lin won’t be as widespread next year, he will still tackle the starting point guard job on the New York Knicks.

Head coach Mike Woodson said the restricted free agent will absolutely be back next season. That should end the debate on whether “Linsanity" would return to the Big Apple or not. But there is still a huge question to be answered. 

Will Lin start at point guard next season? 

Yes. 

Another Woodson quote will shed light on this pivotal issue. 

"Jeremy's a big part of our team, and will he start? Only time will tell. He’s still got to recover from his knee and use this summer to really work on his game to put himself in the best position possible for our ballclub. He has started for our team and he has played well for our basketball team. But this summer will be very pivotal for him in terms of his improvement, and the future's very bright for him."

Woodson never comes out and bluntly states that Lin will start or Lin won’t start, but his words can lead on ...
