Jason Terry Plans to Wear All Black Outfit for Mavericks’ ‘Funeral’ in Game 4

Two years ago, the New York Knicks made the mistake that Jason Terry is about to.

The 'Bockers, up 3-0 on Terry's Boston Celtics in the first round, thought it would be a good idea to wear black to Game 4—"funeral colors," as Kenyon Martin told Mitch Lawrence of the New York Daily News.

Well, the Knicks actually followed through and wore black. And Boston, obviously ticked off, went on to force a Game 6. New York won the series, but the damage was done. The team had embarrassed itself.

You would think that Terry, who was actually the inspiration for Martin's idea, would have learned. Before Game 4, the Jet told "K-Mart," "You're not dancing at my funeral today."

Nope.

With his Houston Rockets up 3-0 on the Dallas Mavericks, the 37-year-old already has his outfit planned out for Sunday night.

"You know my wardrobe," Terry told Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News. "You know what it consists of when it's time to close a series out. So I haven't changed that at all. ... Black on black."

Face palm.
