Okafor Ruled Out for Wednesday's Contest

Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer confirmed the rookie would sit Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets with that sore shin. This is the second straight game he's missed due to the ailment.
It would be a particularly difficult blow for the 76ers if Okafor is forced to miss significant time because big man Joel Embiid was already ruled out for the 2015-16 campaign before the season started.
Okafor was the third overall pick of the 2015 draft after he averaged 17.3 points and 8.5 rebounds a night as a consensus First-Team All-American. He also helped lead the Duke Blue Devils to the national championship alongside his talented teammates, Tyus Jones and Justise Winslow.
Thus far, he is averaging 17.5 points and seven rebounds a night in his rookie campaign.
