The Philadelphia 76ers snapped their five-game losing streak with a 107-100 win over the Houston Rockets Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

It was a big win for Philadelphia, as it was coming into the game on a massive cold streak. It was 2-8 in its last 10 games to go along with their losing streak. As a result of their struggles, the 76ers find themselves on the outside looking in on the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

Houston has now lost its last three games but still has a lock on a playoff spot.

The Rockets were simply outplayed, having been outscored in every quarter but the fourth. They made it close late on, but they had dug themselves into too deep a hole.

Philadelphia had a very good team performance, with five players scoring in double digits.

Thaddeus Young recorded a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Spencer Hawes did very well off the bench with 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.
