Stephen Curry scored 35 points, Andre Iguodala added 20 off the bench and the Golden State Warriors dismantled the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-98 at Quicken Loans Arena on Monday night.
The Warriors wasted no time jumping all over the Cavaliers, taking a 12-2 lead right off the bat.
Cleveland made it 15-11 shortly thereafter, but then, Golden State took off.
The Warriors closed the first quarter on a 19-10 run to take a 34-21 lead into the second period, and they dropped 36 more points to head into halftime with a 70-44 advantage.
The defending champions continued to pour it on in the third quarter, and J.R. Smith was ejected for plowing over Harrison Barnes as Barnes was attempting to set a screen.
By the end of the third, Golden State led 104-67, which allowed both teams to rest their starters in the final frame.
Curry's 35 points came in 28 minutes. He shot 12-of-18, going 7-of-12 from three-point range.
Draymond Green recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists.
LeBron James posted a career-low plus-minus of minus-35. He scored 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting.
