It was a game of runs, and in the end, the Golden State Warriors simply put together more of them, downing the Chicago Bulls 112-102 to extend their win streak to 12.

The first half belonged to the Warriors, as the Bulls struggled to control the ball and defend the perimeter. Klay Thompson had 17 first-half points as Golden State jumped out to an early lead.

The third quarter, though, featured a complete momentum shift, as Pau Gasol put in 10 points as Chicago captured a one-point lead.

However, behind Draymond Green, the Warriors exploded during the final 12 minutes, shooting the ball well, dominating the boards and abusing Chicago on the defensive end, en route to the 10-point victory.

Green led the way with 31 points—a career high—while Thompson finished with 24. Stephen Curry had a quiet 19, making just one three-pointer.

For Chicago, Gasol was the best player, as he finished with 22 points and 20 rebounds. Jimmy Butler added 24 and Joakim Noah 16, but terrible play from Derrick Rose and his fellow point guards ultimately put the Bulls in a position in which they spent too much time playing catchup.
