Golden State Warriors Reportedly Will Sign Jermaine O’Neal and Toney Douglas

The Golden State Warriors are looking to bolster their bench by signing free-agent big man Jermaine O’Neal and guard Toney Douglas to the roster.

Chris B. Haynes of CSNNW.com noted that O’Neal’s contract is a one-year deal worth $2 million:



While the marquee addition of Andre Iguodala is still pending, the Dubs had the cap space to make these two signings by offloading Richard Jefferson, Andris Biedrins and Brandon Rush.

O’Neal, a veteran center, has played for six different clubs during his tenure in the Association.

He most recently averaged 8.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game coming off the bench for the Phoenix Suns, proving that he is still capable of playing at a high level after missing so much time with injury.
