Congratulations, Gerald Green.

Not only did you remind the world that yes, you do still play professional basketball, you also finished one of the sickest alley-oops in recent memory.

The poster boy of high schoolers who shouldn't have jumped straight to the NBA, Green briefly showed why he was once a first-round pick.

He led all scorers on Saturday, dropping 26 points in 23 minutes off the bench. He hit 10-of-15 field-goal attempts, the fanciest of which was that dope windmill above. However, the Nets still lost to the Rockets 112-106, their 28th defeat of this truncated season.

Green has been an afterthought in NBA circles for years. He was the worst of a growing list of awful Danny Ainge draft picks, and aside from a few decent dunk-contest performances, his impact in the NBA hasn't exactly been substantial.

He was a bust in Boston, he had some brief stints with Houston, Minnesota and Dallas, and he spent the last few years getting cut by teams in China and Russia. Now, he's surviving on 10-day contracts from the terrible Nets franchise.
