Karl's Future with Kings in Jeopardy Saturday, Feb. 6 Marc Stein of ESPN reported the Kings wanted to wait until the All-Star break "before deeply weighing Karl's future," but the "George Watch is on now." Stein said Karl conducted practice on Saturday.

Kings Talked About Firing Karl After Nets Loss Saturday, Feb. 6 Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported team owner Vivek Ranadive and general manager Vlade Divac discussed firing Karl after Friday night's 128-119 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. For now, it's noted he "could be spared" to coach Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics.

Karl Hasn't Had Impact Kings Hoped For The Kings have lost six of their past seven games, which has dropped their overall record to 21-29 and leaves them 3.5 games out of eighth place in the West. It's caused support for Karl to fade both within management and the locker room, according to Wojnarowski.
