Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley Discuss Donald Trump’s Win over Hillary Clinton

Figures from across the sports world have chimed in regarding Donald Trump's victory over Hillary Clinton in Tuesday's general election, and Inside the NBA host Ernie Johnson offered a hopeful sentiment before Thursday's game between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat. 

Speaking alongside Kenny Smith, Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley, Johnson disclosed he did not vote for President-elect Trump or Clinton. Instead, he wrote in Ohio Gov. John Kasich—who ran against Trump and a field of others in the Republican primary. 

And while Johnson admitted he was discouraged by the negative tone that enveloped much of the 2016 campaign cycle, he looked to Thursday's meeting between President Barack Obama and Trump at the White House as a source of optimism.
