Despite veteran guard Eric Gordon suffering a fractured right ring finger, the New Orleans Pelicans may still be looking to trade him before the Feb. 18 trade deadline.

Injury Hurts Pelicans' Bargaining Position in Gordon Trade Talks Tuesday, Jan. 26    According to John Reid of the Times-Picayune, New Orleans was "exploring trade offers" for Gordon before he injured his hand. Reid couldn't confirm whether the Pelicans are continuing to shop Gordon around but added the possibility exists.

Gordon has appeared in 41 games this year, averaging 14.9 points a night on 41 percent shooting, including 37.7 percent from beyond the arc. Even before losing Gordon, the Pelicans were not likely receiving a ton of substantial interest for his services throughout the league.

The 27-year-old shooting guard already had questions about his durability before his most recent issue. He missed 136 combined games during his first four seasons in New Orleans.
