Eric Bledsoe Injury: Updates on Suns Guard’s Recovery from Knee Surgery

Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday and will undergo surgery. It's unclear when he will return to the court.

Bledsoe's Surgery Date Revealed  Sunday, Dec. 27 The Suns announced Bledsoe will undergo surgery to repair the meniscus on Tuesday. 

Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com reported Bledsoe's meniscus injury "may keep him out until after the All-Star break."

Bledsoe Has History of Knee Injuries The Suns nabbed Bledsoe in a three-team deal with the Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks prior to the 2013-14 season, but the combo guard's first season in the desert was marred by surgery required to repair torn cartilage in his knee. 

After appearing in 43 games during the 2013-14 campaign, Bledsoe rebounded to appear in 81 games a season ago. He was bothered by left-knee soreness earlier this season, but it was hardly serious.
