As you get closer to someone, you reach a point in the relationship where you don't even have to ask the other person what they want or what they are thinking—you just know.
It should surprise nobody that NBA superstars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have reached that point.
James and Wade have a friendship that goes back more than a decade, as the two came into the league together in the 2003 draft. After the two buddies battled on the court for seven years as Eastern Conference rivals, they teamed up for four magical years in Miami. That only helped their relationship grow, both on and off the court.
Even though the two are no longer teammates, they are still the best of friends. They still work out together, go on offseason vacations together and more. It's reached a point where James knows Wade better than the Chicago Bulls guard's wife, Gabrielle Union.
Wade said so himself in an interview with Christine Quinlan of Food & Wine:
