Draymond Green Arrested: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction on Warriors Star

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was arrested Sunday in East Lansing, Michigan, after allegedly committing an assault.

Brendan F. Quinn of MLive.com first reported the news Monday. Police later confirmed the arrest, per Evan Sernoffsky of the San Francisco Chronicle. 

The East Lansing Police Department provided a statement to Ethan Sherwood Strauss of ESPN.com regarding the arrest:

We are confirming that Draymond Green was arrested for assault in our downtown business district early Sunday morning at around 2:30AM. The victim was a male. It was basically an altercation between two guys. There's no injuries. He was released with a 200 dollar bond on Sunday. And he's got 10 days to get arraigned and then prosecution will continue from there.

Sernoffsky, citing a source "close to the Draymond investigation," reported Green "slapped [a] taunting fan at a nightclub," though police later confirmed to ESPN.com the incident was at a restaurant.
