Chris Paul Injury: Updates on Clippers Star’s Hamstring and Return

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul has been healthy and productive all season, but the 29-year-old veteran has Lob City fans concerned after suffering a hamstring injury in the first quarter of Saturday night's Game 7 against the San Antonio Spurs.

However, he would return to action and lead the Clippers to a 111-109 win. He is not expected to play in Game 1 next series against the Rockets.

Paul Injures Hamstring vs. Spurs, Not Expected to Play Game 1 vs. Rockets Saturday, May 2 According to J.A. Adande of ESPN.com, the eight-time NBA All-Star suffered the hamstring injury in the first quarter and went straight to the locker room.   

Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reported head coach Doc Rivers said if he had to guess, Paul will be out for Game 1 vs. Houston.

However, roughly half way through the second quarter, Paul returned to the game, per Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.
