New York 107, Chicago 91—Final

Carmelo Anthony netted 27 points and propelled the New York Knicks to 107-91 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

Though the Knicks (14-14) fell behind early, a 4-of-23 shooting stretch doomed a Bulls (15-10) team that looked drained after a four-overtime loss Friday night.

Arron Afflalo continued his hot streak with 18 points on an 8-of-14 clip from the field. Lance Thomas chipped in 13 points off the bench.

Joakim Noah paced the Bulls with a season-best 21 points and added 10 rebounds, but Chicago was a step slow on defense—especially Jimmy Butler, who struggled to contain Carmelo.

Bulls forward Pau Gasol did not play, so Bobby Portis received the first meaningful action of his NBA career. The rookie tallied 20 points and 11 rebounds in 23 minutes.
