Chicago Bulls: Michael Jordan To Give Scottie Pippen His Biggest Assist

According to the Chicago Bulls' website, Michael Jordan will present Scottie Pippen when Pippen enters the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday in Springfield, Mass.

After years of Pippen being Jordan's wingman, Jordan will be setting up Pippen on the biggest stage in basketball.

In the 1990s, the two won six NBA championships together and both were named one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history.

Pippen won two Olympic gold medals, had seven All-Star appearances, and was selected to the all-defensive first team eight times. Pippen was part of the all-NBA first team three times. Pippen trails only Robert Horry and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most postseason games played, appearing in the playoffs in 16 straight seasons.

Pippen is also the only player to win both an NBA championship and Olympic gold medal in the same year twice.

Pippen holds the records for most career assists (6,135) and steals (2,307) by a forward to go along with the most steals (232) by a forward in a season, which he set in the 1994-1995 season.
