Jason Kidd will go down as one of the greatest players to ever wear a Nets jersey.

In his six and a half years with the franchise, he led the team to two consecutive NBA Finals (2002, 2003), solidifying himself as one of the greatest point guards to ever play the game.

The organization will thank Kidd for all of his accomplishments on Oct. 17, when it retires his No. 5 jersey in the team's last preseason game against the Miami Heat in the Barclays Center.

We got the chance to catch up with Kidd—now the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets—while he was promoting his Reel Code Media app during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

Watch now to hear Jason talk about the Brooklyn Nets, his retirement ceremony and his new app.
