Brandon Knight Injury: Updates on Suns Star’s Hip and Return

February 28th, 2015 by Joseph Zucker Leave a reply »
The Phoenix Suns announced that point guard Brandon Knight suffered a hip pointer against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night. Knight played 17 minutes, going 0-of-6 from the floor and scoring one point.

Heading into Saturday, he averaged 16.7 points and 4.5 assists since arriving in Phoenix. The Suns went 2-2 during that stretch, and Knight had few problems integrating himself into the offense.

Before taking on the Spurs, Phoenix was a game behind the Oklahoma City Thunder, who own the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

In order to climb back into the top eight, the Suns will need Knight healthy and productive from behind the arc. Otherwise, they'll spend the playoffs sitting at home.
