Unknown if Simmons Will Undergo Surgery

"Nothing has been determined as of yet about surgery or a timeline," said 76ers president of basketball operations and general manager Bryan Colangelo on Sunday, according to Tom Moore of Calkins Media. However, Colangelo noted that the team is getting close to a final determination and that Simmons will likely require surgery, according to Moore.
ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported Saturday that Simmons is scheduled to undergo surgery next week on what team doctors believe is an acute injury.
