Are the L.A. Clippers the Worst Floppers in the NBA?

Lob City gave way to Flop City in a manner that was almost shocking.

Fans tend to lament flopping on all teams, but the L.A. Clippers were so egregious as to foster a consensus—something we haven't seen since the Sacramento Kings started Vlade Divac.

They are the kings of flop, with Blake Griffin leading their flailing, wailing charge. He's taken a heel turn on account of the writhing, as he will often cover his face as though punched by imaginary devils.

This goes a bit further than the standard, "fall for a call," because Griffin's intense fakery can lead to a flagrant or technical foul for his opposition. It's frankly loathsome to act hurt so as to get someone else punished, and fans are reacting to the cynical charade. We're at the point where the Clippers are becoming the Detroit "Bad Boys" Pistons of feigned victimhood, but instead of punching their opponents, they act as though punched themselves.
