Andrei Kirilenko Video: Watch Locked out NBA Star Break Nose in Russia

Andrei Kirilenko has been playing extremely well in the Russian league, but he will undoubtedly be on the shelf for at least a brief time after this nasty fall earlier today.

AK-47 received medical attention, but he was already said to have suffered a broken nose and a concussion, according to SportsRU.com.

The fall and impact looked pretty gruesome, as it immediately drew blood. The good thing is that he never seemed to lose consciousness. It is even worst than the the spill Evan Turner took, while still at Ohio State. It also exceeds the fall Shawn Marion suffered, while still with the Phoenix Suns.

This is certainly not how you want to stay in shape while the NBA lockout is in full effect. Kirilenko is from Russia, so being away from home was not a concern for him in this situation.

Imagine the anxiety of going through a scary injury while far away from home. This is the reality many NBA players could face if they play internationally and suffer injuries.
