Andre Iguodala Injury: Updates on Warriors Guard’s Knee Tendinitis and Return

For at least three games, the Golden State Warriors will have to fight for playoff position without Andre Iguodala. 

According to head coach Mark Jackson, via CSN Bay Area on Twitter, Iggy will miss Tuesday night's game against the Orlando Magic, as well as upcoming contests against the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs, with tendinitis in his knee:



The 30-year-old's numbers may not stand out in his first season with the Warriors. He's averaging just 9.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.6 steals in 32.8 minutes per contest. 

But that's because some of his contributions don't necessarily translate to the box score. For example, he doesn't take a lot of shots. 

"I can and will score," he told Sports Illustrated's Chris Ballard. "But I think the one thing I learned playing this game, it comes to those who put in the work, who do it the right way. So if I were to go up there and force up shots, just because I felt like I should get more shots, it would throw off everything for the team."
