2 Courtside Women Distract Free-Throw Shooters by Dressing as Cat in the Hat

Free throws, despite their gratis implication, can often be difficult, particularly if given the right kind of mental interference.

With less than a second left in the first half in Houston, the New Orleans Pelicans' Norris Cole was confronted with such a diversion—a red, sparkly, sequined diversion.

Two women clothed in little more than large, red- and white-striped top hats, presumably portraying scantily clad Dr. Seuss characters, entered a pseudo-fight instigated by the pulling of one friend's faux tail.

And just in case the feline females weren't ample distraction, Thing 1 and Thing 2 on the right side of the screen very well may be.

That's taking home-court advantage to a whole 'nother level.
