African Digital Library
The African Digital Library provides a core collection of
digitized, full-text eBooks in support of lifelong learning
in Africa. The current collection of 8,000 eBooks covers 52
subject areas.
African Online Digital Library
AODL serves scholars and students conducting research and
teaching about West and South Africa as well as teachers and
students of African languages in both the United States and
Africa. It also provides a valuable model for creating and
distributing a diverse array of materials in a region with
very limited electronic connectivity.

This searchable database contains over 1600 proven solutions
from more than 140 countries to the common social, economic
and environmental problems of an urbanizing world. It demonstrates
the practical ways in which public, private and civil society
sectors are working together to improve governance, eradicate
poverty, provide access to shelter, land and basic services,
protect the environment and support economic development.

The library contains mostly classic books that are no longer

Wikipedia
Wikipedia is a multilingual project to create a complete and
accurate open content encyclopedia. The project was started
on January 15, 2001 and already contains over 120,000 articles
in the English version.
